What is the Student Advisory Council?
The Stride Career Prep Student Advisory Council is a select group of K12-powered students from around the country who serve as advisors for their peers as well as brand ambassadors for Stride Career Prep and their schools. Through this paid internship opportunity, they provide valuable feedback and insight about their experiences with career readiness education.

Maggie Torres
Indiana Digital Learning School
Career Field: Health Services
Grade: 12
Hobbies: Making jewelry, going to concerts and painting.
I chose the healthcare pathway because I enjoy helping people. Also, when my dad got sick I realized how much healthcare workers do for patients and how much people depend on them. I also love learning about the human body and how it works.
Desi Wells
Indiana Digital Learning School
Career Field: Information Technology
Grade: 11
Hobbies: Reading, creative writing, sewing, and coding
My dream job consists of many professions: author, game designer, entrepreneur, and sewer. I'd love to build my own game design company, creating educational and career-building games, while working part-time as an author. I plan to write YA novels, poems, scripts, and possibly plays. I also hope to own a girls' and dolls' clothing store.

Hello! My name is Qamar Saitovski and I'm a 17-year-old senior enrolled at Indiana Digital Learning School. My pronouns are he/him. I've been with K12-powered school ever since I was in third grade. Being at a virtual school for so long has truly been one of the best experiences of my life and I love how flexible my education can be through the online platform. Outside of school, I love doing pixel art, cooking, reading articles, and sleeping (yes, sleeping).
